I am an Associate Professor of Economics at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. I am also a Policy Fellow at SIEPR, a Research Fellow at IZA@LISER, and a Faculty Affiliate at the Wilson-Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities.
I am a labor and public economist with a focus on the economics of the child care market. I study the structure of the U.S. child care market and how it responds to changes in the economic and policy environment.
I received a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University and a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
